Messages to outside are a series of photographs containing text written on European double windows looking out on to snow covered Berlin. It is a continuation of the lipstick works.
After making it, I was remembered that clip in the Australian film Candy. It is towards the end of the film where the character Candy has a break down and writes the story of her and her lovers relationship and heroine addiction on the walls of their house in lipstick and other sorts of make up. I guess this then again references the idea of obsession, addiction love etc.
